Cam hails from Saskatoon where he played his minor and junior
hockey. After his junior career he journeyed to Provo, Utah where he
played 4 years for BYU then returning to Canada to play for the UBC
Thunderbirds. After his paying career, Cam continued to contribute to
hockey in the Province of BC for in access of 40 years. This
contribution includes a U17 world tournament in Quebec, a guest
coach role to the Olympic team in 1987, Head Coach to Team Pacific
in Czechoslovakia, and Assistant Coach with the UBC Thunderbird’s
Women’s team. Cam conducted National Coach Certification
courses, was a founding member of the BC High Performance
Program as an organizer and developer, and a provincial/national
level scout. In 2015 Cam’s work was recognized when he was
inducted into the BC Hockey Hall of Fame.
Nancy has an extensive background in hockey both as a player
and as a coach. She captained the University of Western Women’s
Hockey in Ontario and later the Edmonton Chimos in Alberta. Moving
to BC she played with Vancouver Senior Teams before embarking on
an impressive coaching career. Wilson is a the former Head Coach of
the UBC Thunderbirds, BC Breakers, Vancouver Griffins, Team BC at
the Canada Winter Games and Canada’s U22 team. Nancy was also
an Assistant Coach with Canada's Women's Team at the Four
Nations Cup and World Championships. In 2013 Nancy became
the first Women to be inducted into the BC Hockey Hall of Fame.
